Nature -  Up close and Personal
I am not an artist at heart.  I am a gardener.  I cannot remember a time when I didn't have a flower garden.  My gardens began to 'Go Native' in the 1980's when I starting volunteering at the LBJ Wildflower Center - now the Botanic Garden of Texas.  I subsequently did the flower arrangements there for 10 years.  When I began painting in my early 70's, native plants flowers and critters on our place in SW Llano County became my subjects.  More than ever, all of nature facinates me.
