Linda S. Miracle
I grew up in El Paso, lived in New Mexico for a few years, and now live in Llano County. My husband, John, and I raised eight kids, and at the age of 58 I became an RN. I was able to work in the medical field all over Central Texas and the Hill Country, and now that I’m retired I’ve been able to paint.
We live on property my parents bought decades ago, and the open land overlooks a creek. We have plants and animals here that I haven’t seen since I was a child, and we have awesome skies. This area, and West Texas are what inspire a lot of my art. I love the colors, terrain and sometimes harshness of this country.
Acrylics are my favorite medium. I paint on cradled wooden panels, using many layers of colors and occasionally I overlay my acrylics with oil paint.
My paintings have sold at art shows here in Texas, and I have art in the Llano Fine Arts Gallery in Llano, TX.
