Who is Lori Welch? Lori is an accomplished fiber artist who lives in Burnet, with an engaging friendly and sunny personality. Lori has passion for creating unique posable animals to scale. Her whimsical lifelike critters bring joy and a smile to all. Her current Gallery collection include: cows, pigs, dogs, cats, squirrels, and even a giraffe. She is always stopping by the Gallery to replenish with all types of new critters
The charming farm animals make adorable wearable necklaces as well as conversation starters to add whimsy to your home and table decorations. Lori's felt creations are so amazingly cute, you will catch yourself starting conversations with them and of course giving them special names.
Lori is constantly travelling to far-away places to discover new and innovative ways to improve her needle felting skills. She also can create a personalized felt creation to commemorate your favorite pet or farm animal.
Mark your calendar to meet and see Lori in action as she turns wire, felt, threads, and her imagination into creating collectable Farmyard Fiber creatures at the Llano Fine Arts Gallery on October 2.
