Barbarta Rathwick
Barbara Rathwick, a Horseshoe Bay, Texas based artist, blends her somewhat abstract impressions with the landscape around her. Her work brings a hint of the outdoors into a dreamy, more impressionistic canvas with some surprising color combinations. She primarily works with acrylics often using collage to mix media.

Training began with life drawing at the Creative Arts Center in Dallas. She later studied under Carol Marine in Sedona, Arizona and Joan Fullerton in New Braunfels, TX. Rathwick has participated in the prestigious Pastel Society of America’s bi-annual conference in Albuquerque, NM and sustains an active pursuit of painting in a variety of ways. Her work hangs in private collections in Houston, Austin and San Antonio Texas.
